No, you didn’t miss any emails! This is newsletter issue #2. If you have friends on the email list, please tell them to check their spam folders! I have been doing a lot of experimenting with running my business alongside managing burnout. This has been a tough couple years for all of us, and know that I am right there with you!

I’m going to be changing up the formatting of the email newsletter so that it’s easier for me to send out emails more often. I intended for the comic to be a quick thing to lead into the email but I got too in my own head about the content. My future aim is to send out a more relaxed newsletter on a quarterly basis.

Secret Menu
As some of you have heard, the main feature of this email list is now the Secret Menu!! 🎉 When you visit my booth, you will have the option to order items based on a silhouette and name. I will keep tabs on the list of subscribers, so all you have to do is tell me your email and let me confirm. These items will also be available to people who subscribe the same day. 🙂 Prices are the same as regular shop items. I plan to incorporate an online version of the Secret Menu similar to the way you could order freebies for those who are physically distant from our pop-up events.

Online Shop Progress
The website is still being updated to add all my newest products. I know some had been unavailable for a while. I hope to have this season’s items together by mid-July. You should be able to purchase any item on the site regardless of potentially missing descriptions; just let me know asap if there is anything preventing the items from being shipped! These errors might happen because Square does not have streamlined shipment settings, and I can’t tell when they’re wrong. 😭

After Pride Month, Sproutdone is going to become more narrative-focused as I bring to light a story I’ve been worldbuilding for since I was 15! (That’s 15 years ago!) And now it’s also ✨super non-binary!✨ Neopronouns are commonplace here.

I’ll be introducing you to characters previously only seen by close friends and my college creative writing class.

What is Blank Page?
Blank Page is the main title for any of the stories, big or small, in my creative series. The series features a JRPG-inspired immersive game world where everyone is a mage capable of casting one of 15 different magical elements. A human playtester enters this eerily realistic game world and is left to question if their morals apply here.

Comic Strips
This is related to my original newsletter concept but removes the requirement for an email to pair with a comic. I am going to be occasionally releasing snippets of my characters interacting in brief comics to my socials. The first comic will likely be posted in July and features the two characters on the right of the picture above.

Visual Novel
My big project featuring the above characters is a future visual novel game. It acts as a prequel to the main series I plan to write. I intend for the game to have meaningful character interactions with two main endings and a potential dating sim element. The visual novel format will allow for you to experience this backstory in a way where you can make better or worse decisions than in the canon version of the narrative. This project will take a long time, but I've already delved into its development, and I’m really excited about it!
